I swapped the pedals out to bright blue Crankbrothers Stamp 1 MTB pedals (photo is with stock pedals). Bright blue pedals is the most distinctive attribute to this bike. Any silver Trek with bright blue pedals is likely this bike (the thief could just remove the pedals too though...). I also swapped the seat to a different one than pictured, but it is black and generic looking.

I left my bike in the Carlyle apartment building's underground garage (a closed garage) around 5:00 PM. I left it unlocked and leaning against the wall in front of my friend's car. When I left around midnight, my bike was missing :(
