Description of incident
The locked bike (as well as my helmet) were stolen from a designated bike rack located at the University of Ottawa campus in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, specifically behind the Hamelin Hall building (70 Laurier Ave. E -- closest crossroads are Waller St. S and Laurier Ave. E). The incident occurred sometime during the late afternoon on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. This bike can be distinguished by its Shimano clipless pedals, a black custom rubber frame protector next to the chain (fastened with several zip ties), a forward facing "KAMIKAZE" label directly below the seat post, a RockShox fork, and a bell installed on the right side of the handlebar. If you see this bike, IT IS STOLEN: please contact the Ottawa Police Service at 613-236-1222, extension 7300 as soon as possible. A police report has already been filed. Thank you.
