This is my 3rd LeMond. I am doing a cross-country tour and was intentioned to that travel with my LeMond Sarthe - (my first LeMond). I STILL want my bicycle(s) reunited responsibly back to me, although I am happy to have another that is a good frame size for me and will work for my 1st Mexico to Canada tour! :)

I was 100ft away with my bicycle helmet on and had leaned my bicycle against a tree at the sidewalk (5am, but in hindsight because of knowing the area to have a bike theft problem, I should have still locked the bicycle) I filled a bag with garbage along a grassy area that was roadside litter because I had time and wanted to do something nice for 'Christmas in July' for the earth because of the day being 7.25.24! I heard a strange noise and turned with immediately sense of alarm to my bicycle and a white pickup truck was pulling away from the curb with my bicycle in the rear open bed of his pickup. I dropped the plastic bag and ran in the far right land of 4-lane road to chase the vehicle to at least read the license number, but the car turned at an intersection up the road and I ran to the Lakewood Sounder Station where there was a waiting train and a station attendant to call the police.
