It had an orange 7" Kryptonite U-lock locked onto it, as well as a skewer pinhead through the front wheel. The rear wheel was an unmarked Mavic open-pro laced to an Ultegra hub. The front wheel was the original Mavic Ksyrium sl. Sora brifters and front derailleur, Dura-Ace brake calipers and rear derailleur. SPDs, Gatorskin Harshells. The drivetrain was a brand new 9-speed SRAM setup, cassette, chain and crankset with less than 30 miles on it. I am a senior mechanic at a bike shop nearby; the bike was in racing condition and had placed in the top 5 of numerous cat 5 road races last season. I am not the original owner; I purchased the bike off craigslist in 2015 from the original owner.

I crashed on the street in Brooklyn and severely separated my shoulder and hit my head (luckily I was wearing a helmet). In my confused state I tried to lock my bike somewhere, but must have just locked it to itself because when I went to retrieve it the following day, it was gone.
