Description of incident

My beloved bicycle was stolen from my house located in the Bywater on the 3400 block of Royal Street (between Desire and Gallier). The bike was last seen inside of my home on Friday, October 21st. The theft occurred between October 21-23, possibly during the Krew of Boo parade. It is a 1996 Cannondale M300 matte charcoal pearl mountain bike with black handlebars and a black seat. At the time of the theft, the bike had road tires that were flat. There was some rust on the chain ring, chain and rear gears. It would have required a thorough tune-up as it hadn't been ridden in almost twenty years. The overall condition of the bike is excellent; there are no scratches and there is only a small knick on the top tube of the frame. The picture I am enclosing is not of my actual bike, but it looks identical to mine. The only differences are: mine had road tires, a water bottle holder on the down tube of the frame, and pedal toe clips. Because there are not many older model Cannondale bikes in such pristine condition, I believe my bike would be easily recognizable.
