Distinguishing features
The frame has a beautiful light blue mist color. The bike has a bullhorn handlebar with black/blue bar tape with TekTro bar-end and in-line brake levers.
The bike has an original "Lawee design" decal near the rear derailer in honor of Univega's creator, Ben Lawee who founded Lawee Inc. to design, specify, and import bicycles initially manufactured in Italy by Italvega, and subsequently in Japan by Miyata.
This bike was stolen from me when I was in college. I was fortunate enough to recover the bike months later but the perpetrator ripped off the bicycle license sticker and you can see the gray lettering residue from when it happened, "VOID." I had to get a new license (orange sticker) but this one expired years ago.
