I was wondering around on vacation in Seaside, OR and stopped @ a convenient store. I had noticed the bike outside next where the they stored used pallets, and told the employee that he should put a lock on his bike because I recently just had a bike stolen! He informed me that the bike had been left there almost 3 weeks ago. He had been putting it inside at closing time, and then putting back outside each day when opening, thinking the owner would come back to get it... The store owner told me I was welcome to take it, and so I left my contact information just in case the bikes original owner ever came back for it. To this day I have yet to hear anything about it, so I am registering it to A) check if it was reported stolen (which it had not) and B) to ensure some added security in case its stolen from me.
