2005 Trek Pilot 2.1

Serial number is on removable decal. Numbers stamped into the bottom bracket are Drive Side: WTU267SA0082Z Non Drive Side: TBI-0405 GW4V7622 ZR 9000 w/carbon seat stays 2005 Trek Pilot 2.1 Road Bike. Listed as a 52cm, but with the compact geometry it feels a bit smaller. Would fit riders from 5’2 to 5’9, depending on inseam and fit preference This is a super robust road bike, built as an “endurance road” style rather than full on race. There is a bit more clearance for larger tires (Currently has good Bontrager 700x25, but 28-30mm should be no problem). The triple front crank gives you lots of gearing for the Austin hills. The aluminum frame has carbon fiber fork and seat stays, so it is lightweight and provides a supple ride. Has 9-speed Shimano 105 shifters and derailleurs, the rest of the components are nice Bontrager (Trek’s in-house component brand), including the low spoke count wheels! This bike is in excellent condition; freshly detailed and tuned up, and brand-new bar tape, it is ready to ride!
