3 months after it was stolen, someone from Bike Index spotted it for sale at the Laney Fleamarket in Oakland, and gave me a call. I went to the front gate, told them I was there to recover my stolen bike. Paid $1 entry fee, went in and located my bike, then went back to the front. They radio'd two undercover security guards to escort me to the vendor booth. We got there, they told him I was there to get my stolen bike and that I would be taking it. They took down my information, recorded the vendors ID, and I was sent away with my bike while the vendor of stolen goods waited with the Laney Flea security to be questioned and escorted off the premises by the police.
