Black and red electric bike with Zhengbu logo on the middle bar. It has (or had most likely if the thief took it apart) a basket, rear rack, mud guards, a motor, speedometer, light, horn, and smartphone holder. The picture is my bike but it would be without the battery as I kept that in my apartment and the stuff in the basket.

I locked my electric bike to the bike rack behind my apartment building. The thief trespassed and cut through the lock to take my bike. Even if I don't ride the bike every day, I checked it frequently. The last time I checked was most likely on 9/20/19 and I noticed it was gone on 9/22/19 at 6pm. I always placed a black cover over the bike to protect it from rain and I'm assuming that made it stand out. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that the cover was unbuckled, even though I always buckle it after riding. I believe the thief may have trespassed the property several times to look at the bike over the course of the past two or three weeks. I kept the battery in my apartment so everything but the battery was stolen.
