Hello, I am reporting this as a bike found near the Apartment Garbage area as if someone left it there to go to the scrapyard. I found it in a condition such that the bike did not have pedals, no seat & seat post. The gear and brake cables were cut. The tyres were almost torn. I thought someone had stored this bike without usage for a long time and just wanted to dump it as useless. Maybe it costed more money to repair than to buy a new one or they didn't just need it anymore. Anyways... I didn't feel it deserved to go to the scrapyard, so considering that it was disposed off by somebody, I have restored this bike with new tyres, tubes, brake cables, pedals. Also, At the time of restoration, I was not aware of this website and/or a mechanism for reporting information on stolen bikes in the USA and the way they are traced with their serial numbers until my own bike (a Trek 7.3Fx) went missing from my office bike parking lot on 11/14/24. The Serial number of the Trek 930 is unclear (looks like someone used a grinder to scrape it off). However, three digits 233 are faintly visible. Rightful owner can contact me with valid proof and claim the bike. If you can't prove, then Sorry it's not yours.
