My E bike was stored in my gated backyard under a bike cover; I was upstairs and saw around that time a few young people riding bikes on the other side of the house: front yard; did not hear the gate being opened; they took the bike and left their own bike: children's Gary Fisher mountain bike, navy blue that is still with us for eventual print checks .
