Description of incident
My 2017 Fuji Sportif 2.0 LE road bike with mechanical disc brakes was stolen from an outdoor bike parking rack in the common area of my Eaves Redmond apartment community the night of Saturday, July 24th, 2021. My dad was riding the bike for the past month, and he forgot to bring it back inside our apartment like we usually do, and he locked it with a U-lock to a metal bike rack right outside our front door. The bike was left parked there for at least 5 days, unfortunately. Today, July 25th, he found that it was missing (the lock was found at the rack; no sign of the bike or its accessories at all). There was a kid's bike parked right next to my road bike the entire time; that bike was not touched at all and is still there at the rack. Only my bicycle was stolen. I purchased the bike from Performance Bicycle in Bellevue, WA in August or September 2018. I promptly registered my bike on Bike Index soon afterwards, and after this report, I will submit a stolen bike report there too.
